Details of Disappearance:
Sheridan, a man from Williamsburg, Virginia, went on a five-day cruise to the Bahamas with his wife in November 2004. When their ship, the Celebration, arrived in Jacksonville, Florida on November 24th, his wife reported him missing. She last saw him at 1:30 a.m., and he was gone when she woke up at 7:00 a.m.

The ship was thoroughly searched, but Sheridan wasn’t found. Records showed he never left the ship after it docked. His wife thinks he might have fallen overboard around 4:00 a.m., while the ship was still 13 miles from Jacksonville. She said he was a strong swimmer and in good health.

The Coast Guard searched the area, but after a day with no results, they called off the search. What happened to Sheridan remains a mystery.
