- Details of Disappearance:
- Heather vanished from Athens, Texas on August 27, 2009. Police think she left on her own. The last time anyone saw her, she was with her dad, Jerral Allen Whitley (a picture of him is available). Whitley wouldn’t take a lie detector test after Heather disappeared. Later, he went to prison in Florida for drugs and stealing. He served 18 months and got out in October 2014. Heather had been to Florida and New York before she disappeared. No one knows where she is now.
