- Details of Disappearance:
- In June 1987, 21-year-old Susan Zampell vanished after leaving work at a Bathtique store in Naples, Florida. She got a ride from a friend to a minister’s house in Golden Gate Estates, but asked to be dropped off at the end of the driveway. She never returned.
The minister, Arthur Sims, said he didn’t know her. Zampell left behind all her belongings – clothes, paycheck, everything except a makeup bag. This, along with her close relationship with her family and lack of a history of running away, makes police believe she was abducted. While her driver’s license was suspended for a traffic ticket, she had no criminal record. The case remains a mystery.
