- In April 1998, Van Beek’s daughter visited her in Daytona Beach, Florida. They went to biker bars and shopped together. Van Beek loved going to motorcycle events there. Then, in May 1998, Van Beek’s boyfriend told her daughter that Van Beek had left their home with someone in a white truck. No one has heard from Van Beek since. Her daughter tried to find her and eventually contacted the police. There’s been no activity on her bank accounts or ID since she disappeared. The mystery of what happened to Van Beek remains unsolved.
