Details of Disappearance:: Helen vanished from South Milwaukee, Wisconsin around January 12, 1946. She was having problems with her husband, and she didn’t show up to get her two little kids from the babysitter. Nobody has seen or heard from her since. Strangely, her husband, William, came home from the army that same day (he’d been serving since March 1943). Helen’s family is sure she wouldn’t have left her children; she knew what it was like to lose her family as a child (her mom died when she was young, and her younger brothers and sisters went to an orphanage). There isn’t much information about what happened to her.
