Details of Disappearance:: In August 1987, a woman named Lohninger vanished from her home in Fairfax, Virginia. Her daughter noticed mail piling up at her townhouse and reported her missing. Police don’t think anything bad happened to her. No one has heard from her since, and she was officially declared dead in 1994. She was originally from Germany but became a U.S. citizen.
