Details of Disappearance:
Kazumi disappeared on July 11, 1986, in Fort Myers Beach, Florida. The last time anyone saw her was at 6:00 p.m. in the parking lot of Dino’s Restaurant, which was closed for the summer. She was selling Garfield puppets for her church (the Unification Church) and was carrying them in a big bag. People in the area don’t remember seeing her after she passed Dino’s, so she may have disappeared near the restaurant. She was from Japan and her parents lived there. She’d been a member of the church since 1981 and was usually with a group selling puppets, but was alone that day. No one has heard from her since, and police think something bad happened to her.
