- A woman named Crider vanished from Mansfield, Ohio on March 25, 2017, and hasn’t been seen or heard from since. She was separated from her husband but on good terms with him. She lived in an apartment and her boyfriend said she left with someone she met online, abandoning all her belongings – including vital medical supplies like oxygen and medication – even though she had no car or money. The boyfriend later threw out her things.
Several people said they saw Crider being forced into her boyfriend’s truck, but this hasn’t been proven. Crider’s husband reported her missing a few days later because she’d disappeared briefly before and returned. She might have gone to Newark, Ohio.
Crider needed medical treatment, so her disappearance is very concerning. While she struggled with drug addiction and had talked about death, her family doesn’t think she overdosed or intended to kill herself. She’s never gone this long without contacting family. The police still haven’t solved the mystery of her disappearance.
