- Hopi and his twin sister Anna were taken away by their mom on September 13, 2007, from their home in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. Their mom didn’t have permission to take them. About a year and a half later, in March 2009, police found them living in a van in Tennessee. The kids were dirty, hungry, and not well cared for. They were put in the care of Tennessee’s child protection agency, and their mom was arrested.
