- In 1994, a man named Fisher, who’d served in the US Army and lived in Florida before moving to Mississippi, disappeared. He worked at a mobile home company in Long Beach, Mississippi, and told his parents he was going to Missouri to help with flood relief. He was never seen or heard from again.
There’s not much information about what happened. Interestingly, his brother was a fugitive for 15 years, using Fisher’s identity to escape child sex abuse charges. However, police don’t think the brother was involved in Fisher’s disappearance, which remains a mystery.
