Details of Disappearance:
On December 16, 2008, around noon, Berry disappeared in Terre Haute, Indiana. He was last seen near Fifth and Elizabeth Avenues. His phone was used at 12:11 p.m., then nothing.

Berry had given his guns to a friend, Brent England, because he was on probation and couldn’t own them. His father said he was going to get the guns back from England when he vanished. A few days later, Berry’s van was found near the Wabash River.

This is suspicious because Berry was close to his young son and wouldn’t leave him. He was well-liked and had just taken over his dad’s painting business.

England was arrested for Berry’s murder. Police found Berry’s blood in England’s house and car. England claimed he saw Berry that day, said he’d pawned the guns, and then Berry left. He blamed the blood on an old turkey hunting injury. However, England was found not guilty in court.

Even though the case was closed, police still suspect foul play because of the evidence and the fact that Berry has never been found. Berry was a graduate of North Vigo High School who enjoyed paintball and bike tricks.
