- Details of Disappearance:
- On February 15, 2012, Tidwell disappeared from Mount Enterprise, Texas. His boss saw him last at 5:30 AM after his night shift at an electrical company in Longview (where he’d worked for 10 years). He lived with his wife in a cabin they were building. He was supposed to work overtime that afternoon but never showed up. His wife told his boss he was asleep and wouldn’t wake him.
Worried, his boss asked police to check on him on February 20th and again on the 28th, but Tidwell was nowhere to be found. A missing person report was then filed. His wife gave conflicting stories about when she last saw him.
On February 29th, Tidwell’s white 1979 Ford F100 truck was found abandoned a few miles from his home. His glasses were in the truck, but his phone, wallet, and keys were gone. There was no sign of Tidwell.
His sister suspects foul play, believing he didn’t leave on his own. The case remains unsolved.
