- A woman named Hollingsworth disappeared from a club in San Antonio, Texas on August 18, 1973. Her truck was left at the club. Years later, a drifter named Alan Klise confessed to killing her. He claimed they met at the club, he invited her out for breakfast, she changed her mind, and he strangled her. He said he dumped her body in a field. Klise was arrested, but the charges were dropped because her body was never found. The case remains unsolved, and it’s not clear if Klise is still considered a suspect.
