- On August 4, 2018, a small plane carrying five people disappeared. Four Polish tourists – Intek, Kazimierz Miernik, Robert Sieniawski, and Maria Teresa Libacka – and their American pilot, Craig Layson, took off from Talkeetna, Alaska, for a short sightseeing trip over Denali National Park. Their plane, a single-engine Beaver (N323KT), owned by K2 Aviation, was only supposed to be gone for an hour, but it never came back.
