- Details of Disappearance:
- In October 2001, Jarkeius’s parents were in jail. His babysitter, Gwendolyn Brown, said three armed men broke into her Miami home, tied her and her boyfriend, Jeffrey Cochran, up, and stole things, including Jarkeius. They claimed to have heard a gunshot.
Police found Jarkeius’s blood on the mattress and sheets, leading them to believe he may have been hurt or killed. However, they are suspicious because Brown and Cochran waited two hours to call the police, and drugs were found in the house. Cochran also has a long criminal record.
While Jarkeius’s mother believes someone took him and is caring for him, no one has ever seen Jarkeius since that day, and the case remains unsolved. Pictures of the suspects are available, and they are considered dangerous.
