- Details of Disappearance:
- On December 3, 2020, Purvis disappeared from Carnation Street in Jackson, Mississippi. She urgently called her grandfather several times in just 15 minutes, begging him to pick her up. But when he arrived, she was gone. Her boyfriend said Purvis told him to tell her grandfather she got a ride and would call, but she never did. Her grandfather couldn’t reach her after several attempts; her phone was off. She’s never been seen or heard from since.
The last time anyone saw her, she was leaving in a dark blue Chevrolet Tahoe driven by a Black man. Police think her disappearance might be linked to the murder of a friend she’d witnessed a few weeks earlier. The case is still unsolved.
