- Details of Disappearance:
- Kyle disappeared from Annadel State Park near Santa Rosa, California. He was acting strangely before he vanished: He couldn’t sleep, talked rapidly, was very energetic, became obsessed with religion, and wore a fancy top hat.
He left home in Sacramento, packed his truck with odd things (like a bird bath!), and left a note saying he was going to New York to make it big in music. His truck was found near the park.
Someone found him crying in a barn, saying the horses were sad. Later, he was seen naked and chanting in the park. His clothes were found nearby, with the tags ripped off and strange things in the pockets.
Police think Kyle had a mental breakdown and doesn’t remember who he is or how to get home. He might be homeless in the Santa Barbara area, or he could have gone to Humboldt State University (where he went to college). He might be scared of people and avoid contact.
Kyle was a landscaper and had studied Buddhism. He’s still missing.
