- On July 5, 1997, Lavalais disappeared. Her dad dropped her off on Speights Road in Hankamer, Texas, around 10 pm. She was never seen or heard from again. She lived with her husband and two grandkids. Police think something bad happened to her, but the case is still a mystery.
