Details of Disappearance:
On April 25, 1972, Kamahele was hitchhiking near Highway 101 in Santa Rosa, California. A friend was on their way to pick her up, but before they got there, a man stopped and gave her a ride. This man was a white guy in his twenties or thirties with an afro, driving an old, brownish Chevrolet pickup truck (made sometime between 1970 and 1972). Kamahele disappeared after getting into the truck and has never been found.
