- Details of Disappearance:
- On September 18, 1992, a man named Arms was sailing with two friends on Lake Champlain near Plattsburgh, New York. Their small sailboat capsized in rough water, throwing everyone into the lake. They were all wearing life jackets and swam towards Schuyler Island. Arms’ friends made it to the island, but Arms didn’t. The Coast Guard found his life jacket and boat, but Arms was never seen again. He’s from Vermont and was visiting New York when he disappeared. While it’s believed he drowned, he’s still officially listed as a missing person.
