- A man named Walkenford vanished in Juneau, Alaska, on May 15, 2010. Six years later, in September 2016, hikers discovered a body near a trail in a swampy area. Even though police had searched this area before, they think the dense plants hid the body. While they haven’t officially confirmed it’s Walkenford, they’re pretty sure it is. They found clothes near the body that match what he was wearing when he disappeared, and a phone with his pictures on it. It might take up to six months to get a positive ID.
