Wilkerson had red highlights in her hair at the time of her disappearance. Her nickname is Jen. Some agencies refer to her as Lynn Wilkerson or Lynn Jennifer Wilkerson.
- Details of Disappearance:
- Hollie Wilkerson vanished from Lubbock, Texas on July 13, 2004. She was last seen at her boyfriend’s place around 11:00 a.m. She told him she was going home, then to work at Nothin’ Butt Smokes. Her car was found parked at her house, locked, with her keys inside. She left behind money and most of her belongings, but her tan purse was missing. She never showed up for work and nobody has heard from her since.
Police are investigating because her disappearance is suspicious. They’re looking for a small, low-riding black truck with smooth hubcaps, decals on the back window, possibly tinted windows, out-of-state plates, and maybe hydraulics. This truck might be connected to her disappearance.
Another young woman, Joanna Rogers, disappeared from Lubbock around the same time. While police haven’t linked the two cases, it’s unusual to have two disappearances so close together.
Hollie’s boyfriend and roommates have been ruled out as suspects. Her best friend thinks she might have been involved with drugs, but her mother doesn’t believe that. Hollie was a college student at South Plains College and planned to visit her family in New Mexico before she disappeared.
The police consider Hollie’s disappearance suspicious and possibly an abduction, but they haven’t found any evidence that she is dead. The case remains unsolved.
