Details of Disappearance:: On June 5, 2008, Johnson vanished from Corbin, Kentucky. A year later, in May 2009, his body was discovered in Indian Creek, Kentucky. Police already had Daniel Grubb and Bobby Walters in jail for trying to hide evidence related to Johnson’s disappearance. Grubb is now also charged with Johnson’s murder. The cause of death was a severe head injury, likely from being hit with a cinder block, according to investigators.
