- Details of Disappearance:
- On September 21, 2002, McKoen disappeared. He left his farm near Malin, Oregon around 5:30 a.m. in his brown and white 1986 GMC pickup truck (Oregon plate QLB-429). The truck had a camper shell and a Honda motorcycle in the bed. He usually left a note when he went out, but didn’t that day. He was going hunting.
Two weeks later, his truck was found abandoned and locked in a wooded area near Medicine Lake Road in California. The heater was on, the radio off – unusual for him. McKoen wasn’t there. The case remains a mystery.
