Clothing/Jewelry Description On his left finger, a white gold wedding band with a braid in the center and the engraving “Always JT+ JM 6-29-91” and Scotch tape wrapped around the ring. Possibly a t-shirt, blue jeans, weathered brown New Balance lace-up shoes, a navy blue nylon jacket and a brown Gap belt.

Details of Disappearance:

Tang disappeared on November 29, 2005, from his San Francisco home. His wife talked to him on the phone around 10 a.m., and he left his apartment around 11:30 a.m. after logging off his computer. He hasn’t been seen or heard from since.

He had his wallet, keys, and $80 cash with him, but his phone, credit cards, and ATM card haven’t been used. He left behind his wife and two young children.

Before he disappeared, Tang was depressed and stressed about work. He called in sick that day. He also didn’t like taking his medicine for seizures because it made him feel confused, and sometimes skipped his doses.

It’s very unusual for Tang to not contact his family. His family thinks he might be homeless and have memory loss (amnesia). There were a few reports of people who might have seen him in San Francisco after he disappeared, but they weren’t confirmed. It’s also possible he’s in Boston, Massachusetts, where he was born and went to high school.

The police haven’t solved the mystery of what happened to him.
