- On Christmas Eve 2010, one-year-old Jiaa and her sister Aarshiya vanished from Thornton, Colorado. Police think their mom, Ritu Hemchandra Desai, who didn’t have custody of the girls, took them. No photos or much information about the mom are available. They might be in Pune, India, but nobody knows for sure where they are. The case is still unsolved.
