In June 1995, Jodi Huisentruit, a TV news anchor in Mason City, Iowa, vanished. She called her work around 4:00 a.m. to say she was on her way. When she didn’t show up, her coworkers called the police.

Police found some of her belongings scattered in the parking lot of her apartment building: shoes, hair dryer, etc., near her car. The car keys were there, but her car was untouched. Someone nearby reported hearing a scream around that time.

Investigators think she was abducted. Many leads were followed over the years, but nothing solved the mystery. She was officially declared dead in 2001, but the case remains unsolved.
