Details of Disappearance:: A man named Long vanished from Thibodaux, Louisiana on February 11, 2001. He’s never been found. Strangely, he left everything behind: his car, $2,000 in cash, his dentures, clothes, even his insulin (if he needed it). He had been living with his ex-wife to help care for her during her battle with cancer. She died the month before he disappeared, and their children went to live with their aunt. His family didn’t notice him missing until February 13th, when they couldn’t reach him by phone. While he was sad about his ex-wife’s death, he didn’t seem unusually upset, making his disappearance even more mysterious. No one knows what happened to him.
