- Details of Disappearance:
- On July 2nd, 2017, Key went boating on Lake Pend Oreille in Idaho with friends. Afterward, he sailed alone back towards Bayview, Idaho, but disappeared. His empty boat was found later, floating in deep water (1,100 feet deep) near Cape Horn on the lake. A big search didn’t find him, so it’s believed he drowned. Key was from Newman Lake, Washington.
