- Details of Disappearance:
- Ward disappeared in Chatsworth, California on August 30, 1994. He went for a walk to a nearby sporting goods store and never came back. He was a really good hiker, able to walk up to 25 miles a day, so police think he might have gotten lost on his way home. This wasn’t his first time going missing; he’d vanished once before and was found 20 miles from home.
A few days after he disappeared, someone may have seen him in Brown’s Canyon, a place he liked to hike. Another person thought they saw him near a health food store in Canoga Park on September 25th, but didn’t know he was missing at the time.
Police looked for him everywhere, but they never found him. His disappearance remains a mystery.
