Details of Disappearance:
John Fairbank vanished from his Wilsonville, Oregon home (near Boones Ferry Road) sometime around late August or early September 2001. His roommate, Daniel Ingram (also known as Daniel Proper), started selling Fairbank’s stuff – his truck, tractor, and antiques – shortly after. Ingram claimed Fairbank was in Cuba, but Fairbank was known to travel internationally, but never without letting anyone know. This was unusual for him.

Because of this and other suspicious circumstances, Ingram is considered a suspect. Police searched their shared home and found signs of violence. They believe Fairbank was murdered and his body is hidden somewhere in the Portland area. Fairbank was unemployed but sold antiques to make money. He had no family nearby. The case is still unsolved.
