Details of Disappearance:: Barreto disappeared after being in Miami, Florida in January 1977. His family sent him money on the 20th, but that was the last time they heard from him. He had mental health problems from using LSD in the army, which sometimes made him wander when it was warm. He got disability checks sent to his mom’s account, and would call her to ask for money. Not much is known about what happened to him, and the Lake Oswego, Oregon police are looking into it.
