Details of Disappearance:

On December 23, 1990, Baham disappeared in Oakdale, Louisiana. He was going to meet a friend at a nearby car wash after stopping at a store. He left the store at 7:30 pm but never made it to the car wash.

A witness saw his truck near a bridge later that night, with its lights on, then off. The next morning, his father found the truck abandoned with the keys in the ignition, the battery dead, and Baham’s coat and shotgun inside. There were no signs of a fight. Baham had $1500 in cash on him after cashing a paycheck. He had been drinking that night.

Two men, including Paul Kilgore, were sleeping in a car nearby. They were questioned but denied knowing anything. Years later, in 1998, a former jail inmate claimed Kilgore was involved. The inmate led police to a search area, but no body was found. Kilgore was arrested but released due to lack of evidence.

Baham’s family said he wouldn’t have run away, especially not in the cold (17 degrees) without his coat, and he left a lot of money in his bank account. Police suspect foul play, but the case remains unsolved.
