Schaff has four tattoos: an eagle on his right calf or on his chest, a spiderweb between the fingers of his left hand, a Grim Reaper on the left side of his ribcage, and his last name “SCHAFF” in stylized lettering on his back. - Details of Disappearance:
- On January 18, 2014, Michael Schaff got into a fight at a bar in Granville, New York, near the Vermont border. He was hurt (cuts on his head) and his glasses broke. After the fight, he was offered a ride, but walked away and disappeared.
His phone was later found in a truck parked near where he was last seen, close to the Mettawee River in Vermont. Because it was so cold that night, police think he might have fallen into the river and drowned. They searched the river many times, but never found him.
The police looked into the person he fought with, but didn’t charge them with anything. Schaff was a quiet person who wouldn’t just disappear, making his case even more mysterious. To this day, nobody knows what happened to him.
