- Jonathan went missing in San Marino, California on February 8, 1985. Nine years later, in 1994, someone found his bones buried on his family’s land. He had been killed by a blow to the head. It wasn’t until 2010 that police were sure the bones were his. In 2011, a man named Christian Karl Gerhartsreiter (who also used the name Clark Rockefeller) was accused of killing Jonathan. Jonathan’s wife, Linda Sohus, disappeared at the same time and has never been found.
