- On March 8, 1989, a woman named Murray called her family from Cambria, California. Her truck, a gray 1988 Dodge with license plate 2AGV071, had broken down. She said she was going to look for a job in Cambria. She’d been driving south on Highway 1, maybe near Ragged Point, when it happened. Her mom sent her $50 for repairs, but Murray never touched the money. She disappeared and hasn’t been seen or heard from since. The police still don’t know what happened to her.
