- Details of Disappearance:
- On April 29, 2015, Gauthier left his home in Nederland, Texas around 10:30 PM, saying he was going for a short drive. He usually visited a friend and was back within an hour, but he never returned.
About an hour and fifteen minutes later, his white Dodge pickup truck was found abandoned on the Rainbow Bridge between Port Arthur and Bridge City – a short 15-minute drive from his home. The truck’s engine was still running, and some of his things were inside, including his shoes.
Police think Gauthier jumped off the bridge and died, but his wife suspects something more sinister happened. He worked in construction, welding fences, and had a young daughter. The case is still open and being investigated by Port Arthur police.
