Details of Disappearance:: Baby Joshua disappeared from his home in Zion, Illinois on August 19, 2013. His mom’s boyfriend, Demetries Thorpe, claimed a stranger took Joshua through an open window. But Thorpe ran away when questioned. The police found Thorpe the next day. He confessed to killing Joshua – he said he smothered the baby to stop him from crying. Thorpe threw Joshua’s body in a dumpster. Police searched a huge landfill for days but couldn’t find Joshua’s body. Thorpe pleaded guilty to murder and got 30 years in prison with no chance of parole. Joshua’s mom cooperated with the police. Joshua had five brothers and sisters. His body has never been found.
