- Details of Disappearance:
- Joshua disappeared on January 21, 2005, in Arkansas. He was last seen around 9:00 a.m. in a red Ford truck with a man on Dry Creek Road. That same day, Charles House was found murdered nearby. Ricky Freeman is charged with House’s murder. Freeman was also convicted of killing Joshua’s relative, Shannon Middleton.
Police think Joshua’s disappearance and House’s murder are connected because they were friends, and Joshua might have seen House’s murder. While there were early leads suggesting Joshua might have gone to Missouri or Texas, police later (in 2007) believed he was likely killed in a drug-related crime and his body hidden in Newton County, Arkansas. His case is still open.
