- On July 7, 2007, Joshua and a friend were boating on Pressentin Creek near Mount Vernon, Washington. Their boat flipped over, and Joshua got caught in a rope and pulled underwater. His friend tried to save him, but couldn’t. Even after a big search, Joshua was never found. It’s believed he drowned.
