- On September 8, 2004, Dupont disappeared in Lake Charles, Louisiana. She left her child with her sister and went to catch a bus. She was going to the Housing Authority but never arrived. She hasn’t been seen or heard from since. Dupont had two children and very little money when she vanished. Police think she didn’t leave on purpose because she was a responsible person, but the case is still a mystery.
