- A mom (Nelta Jacques) and her two daughters (Juanita and Johanna St. Louis) vanished from Fort Lauderdale, Florida in 1999. Eleven years later, their van was found at the bottom of a canal. The family’s remains were inside. Police believe it was an accident—Nelta likely drove into the canal by mistake. They didn’t find anything to suggest anyone did anything wrong.
