- On November 9, 1979, Reedy disappeared from Valley Drive in Beckley, West Virginia. Nine days later, her car was discovered in Pipestem, West Virginia. The car had been stolen of its parts, and then burned. Police found no clues about what happened to Reedy at the scene. She’s been missing ever since, and her Social Security number hasn’t been used.
