- On December 26, 2005, a woman named Heim disappeared after leaving her home in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Her tan Buick Electra was found the next day, abandoned and wiped clean, about 12 miles from Clarksville, Texas – a place she had no known connection to. Everything was still in the car: her purse, ID, money, even her car keys.
Months before, Heim had testified against her ex-husband and others in a drug trial. Police think this might be related to her disappearance. While she had dealt with depression in the past, she seemed happy when she vanished. Because of the strange circumstances, investigators believe someone harmed her.
