Details of Disappearance:
On March 27, 1985, at about 7:20 PM, a college student named Wilson disappeared from Colonie, New York. She was last seen near Central Avenue after buying new shirts for a spring break trip to Florida. She might have gone to a tanning salon, but nobody remembers seeing her there.

Witnesses saw her walking toward Fuller Avenue. She was never seen again. Her purse, wallet, shopping bag, and possibly a backpack were never found.

Police think she walked south on Fuller Avenue, possibly abducted near Six-mile Waterworks, a dark, quiet area near a highway. A sketch of a mysterious man seen nearby is available. He’s a person of interest.

Investigators checked if she went to Florida, but found no proof. A potential suspect died in a fire in 2013, but police couldn’t connect him to the crime.

Thirteen years later, another SUNY Albany student, Suzanne Lyall, also vanished. While police don’t link the cases directly, the circumstances are similar.

Wilson was a political science major with hopes of a career in foreign service. Her family lived in Plattsburgh, and her father was in the Air Force. Her disappearance remains a mystery.
