Details of Disappearance:
Karen disappeared from a bowling alley in Bordentown, New Jersey, on October 23, 1979. Her parents reported her missing right away. Police think something bad happened to her.

There were whispers that she went to a nearby lagoon with some young men who partied there, but no one could prove it.

Investigators thought her body might be buried in an old sludge pit in Hamilton, New Jersey. A special machine detected things that could be human remains in the pit. Police dug there for three days in 2005, but found nothing.

They’ve talked to possible suspects but haven’t had enough evidence to charge anyone. Karen’s case is still a mystery, and the police are treating it as a murder.
