Details of Disappearance:
Jennifer Croft-Payne disappeared from Chehalis, Washington in 2010. She was unemployed, moved around a lot, and struggled with drug addiction. Her friend reported her missing in May 2010, having last spoken to her in April.

Croft-Payne had a troubled past, including losing custody of her child due to her addiction and facing threats from a man she knew. Police were worried about her safety.

Five years later, in 2015, police said they’d heard from several people who claimed Croft-Payne died from a drug overdose soon after she disappeared. They believed her body was buried in a wooded area in Oregon. While they knew who they thought was responsible for disposing of the body, they decided not to press charges. Their focus was on finding her remains to bring closure to her family.

Unfortunately, Croft-Payne’s body has never been found, and her case remains unsolved.
