- On December 9, 2017, in Memphis, Tennessee, Captain Pigram’s tugboat, the *Ricky Robinson*, sank in the Mississippi River. He was working with his fiancée’s 19-year-old son when the boat capsized and went down in deep water. Sadly, his fiancée’s son died in the accident. Even though rescuers searched for 30 hours, Captain Pigram was never found. He’s believed to have drowned. Captain Pigram had worked on tugboats for 11 years and had five children.
