Details of Disappearance:: Whitmore disappeared from his secluded home outside Greenville, Virginia, after being last seen on April 10, 2018. He lived alone and was rarely seen by others. His family hadn’t seen him since 2015, except for his sisters who tried to visit him in Spring 2018. They found his house with lights on and cars in the driveway, but no one answered. Police did a welfare check in May, but couldn’t find him. His family reported him missing in June after the power was cut off and his mortgage was overdue. He left behind almost everything—his clothes, cars, and belongings—except his phone and wallet. It looked like he left quickly, planning to return. No one knows what happened to him.
