- Details of Disappearance:
- Kelli Krum and her baby daughter, Kelsi, vanished from their Arcadia, Florida home on August 10, 1994. They were moving to Sebring and Kelli was about to start a new job. Before disappearing, Kelli left a note saying she was going to get her paycheck and would be back.
Their cousin, Jimbo Ford, was the last person to see them. He said Kelli was on the phone, packing up their belongings. The house showed no signs of a struggle; Kelli left most of her and Kelsi’s clothes behind, but her purse and car keys were missing. Strangely, Kelli’s car was seen parked differently in the driveway by her uncle at different times.
Jimbo Ford failed a lie detector test about the disappearance but refused further tests and was never charged. However, he was later convicted of brutally murdering a couple in 1997. This led investigators to look at him again in connection with the Krums’ disappearance. A search of an orange grove based on a tip yielded no results.
Despite the suspicion of foul play, Kelli and Kelsi have never been found, and the case remains unsolved.
